To help the government fight the funding of terrorism and money laundering activities, Federal law requires all financial institutions to obtain, verify, and record information that identifies each person who opens and account.

What this means for you: When you open an account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask to see your driver’s license and other identifying documents.

Please make sure that you never give out any personal information to anyone calling or claiming to be calling on behalf of Colorado Valley Bank.  Colorado Valley Bank will never ask you to reveal any information on the phone or by email.  Instead, if we ever need you to update your information, we will simply ask you to come by one of our convenient locations and speak to one of our personal bankers at any one of our locations.
